The cottage was clean, spacious, comfortable and had the necessary facilities to enjoy our time there and the beds are super comfy!
We would highly recommend staying here and enjoying the scenery, cottage, hosts and the local areas which are just a short drive away.

  absolutely brilliant spot for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle. tje children loved being so close to the animals and helping Andy feed them in the morning.

The cottage is... read more thoughtfully furnished and decorated with practical additions for young guests, like stairgates and a good high chair. The light, open kitchen area and courtyard are such lovely, social spaces. The location is peaceful and beautiful. The highlight, however, is the neighbours — meaning, of course, Joe and Ferdy (Horses), Roy, Dave, Daphne and Delilah (Donkeys). Seeing their sweet faces peering into the courtyard each morning was a delight. Feeding and meeting all the animals with Andy will be a special memory for our 2 year old granddaughter, and us all! It was wonderful to see such happy, and well cared for animals. Thank you again Sam and Andy! We would love to return.

Well equipped and fantastic location with all the farm... read more animals just out the window. So much to do in the local area for families and so much helpful information from our hosts. We will definitely be back! Our highlight was helping Andy on the morning animal feeding round and brushing the donkeys. We’d love to come and stay again!

  Lower Whistleigh Farm is an amazing place for a family holiday. Me and my family had an amazing time with all the animals. Truly unique experience with all the donkeys... read more by your doorstep, so much fun.
Apart from the farm there is so much to see around, like small villages, waterfalls by the sea.
Our host Sam & Andy were most attentive, available for any questions and advice. We were able to walk with Andy on several occasions to see work and even be involved in feeding animals on the farm.
Truly amazing experience, definitely will be back.
