Gin Taste Experience

We have teamed up with the fantastic local North Devon Gotland Gin to offer a Taste Experience for our guests staying at Lower Whitsleigh Farm.

Relax in their bar and learn all about how Gotland Gin started and the story behind their gin. Sample some of their award-winning gin and taste, smell and learn more about the botanicals that create their very smooth and refreshing spirit.

45 mins – Cost £15.00 per person

Allocated drivers who join the experience will be given a soft drink or a 5cl Gotland Gin to take home.

GIN FULL EXPERIENCE

The full experience starts with an introduction to Gotland Gin in their outside bar whilst enjoying a G&T or soft drink before heading into their nano-distillery to see how Gotland Gin is produced. 

You then have the opportunity to meet their flock of Gotland sheep and lambs during lambing season, and then relax in the bar and learn all about the botanicals in our gin while enjoying some sample tasters.

Session time 1hr 30 mins – Cost £25.00 per person

Introducing Sam’s Cider Tours – The true taste of Devon Cider

Sam’s Cider Tours held every Wednesday at 2 pm will take you through the history of the company and the cider-making process from start to finish, showing you the traditional methods alongside the modern ways of the 21st century.

Tickets £7.00

Under 18’s are free.

An award-winning producer of English Red Wines.

A small family-run vineyard and winery, sheltered by Dartmoor.

Focussed solely on making award-winning red wines from their own grapes.

The wines are soft and fruity, easy-drinking, and matured in oak.

Tours – They will take you through the vineyard and demonstrate what they are currently doing on the vineyard.  Then move onto the winery where they explain the winemaking process, and how they turn the juice into award-winning wine.

Tours are finished with a tasting of all 3 wines they produce – Pinot Noir, Rondo & Dornfelder.

Tours last around 90 minutes and is priced at £7.50 per person.
